Quick and easy meal

If you’re looking for a quick and easy recipe for dinner, you’re in luck, as these Greek chicken bowls are a favorite of the week. And if you can’t wait for dinner, guess what? They are also great for lunch! You can prepare the meal all the ingredients and you have ready to go for a grave and go for lunch you can take to work or school. You really can’t go wrong with these simple Greek chicken bowls. They are loaded with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor!

Meal in a Bowl

So what happens in a Greek chicken bowl? All your favorite Greek flavors in a large bowl. These bowls are loaded with goodness. Start with chicken with lemon and marinated oregano and your favorite grain. You can use rice, Quinoa or Farro. If you want the bowls to be low in carbohydrates and you want even more vegetables, you can even use cauliflower rice.

Then add all the fun toppings. These bowls are all about toppings!

  • Tomato
  • Sea cucumber
  • kalamata Olives
  • Red onion
  • feta cheese
  • tzatziki sauce (my tzatziki avocado is good too)
  • dill and fresh persil

You can also add hummus and serve Pita Chips on top for a little crunch or serve hot, fresh flatbread on the side. These bowls are very customizable. And if you want the bowls to be vegetarian, You can omit the chicken and add chickpeas.

Meal Preparation

If you want to prepare the bowls in advance, you can definitely do it. We are happy to prepare all the ingredients on Sundays so that the bowls are ready to go and just hang out in the fridge until they are ready to eat.

You can cook the chicken and cereal of your choice in advance. In a Container in the Refrigerator. You can also chop all the vegetables and make the Tzatziki in advance. You can store all the ingredients individually or share them in meal containers to pack and leave for the week. Do not place Tzatziki sauce on the bowls until ready to eat. Ingredients are stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. You can prepare on Sunday and eat all week!
